AYANE YAMAMOTO
From Japan, artist Ayane Yamamoto, studies at Tama Art University in Tokyo.
She creates paintings inspired by mythological and imaginary creatures, depicting her recurring character into various states of the mind. Yamamoto shares her own mental health struggles symbolized through Greek mythological figure Medusa. With her most recent body of work aiming to raise awareness towards mental illness. It also seeks to showcase the battle towards positive mental health and other societal constraints.
Ayane Yamamoto took part in ‘LUCKY CHARM’ a Group Exhibition of 28 International Artists. Presented by Lisa Boudet in association with Moosey Art. Opening the 4th of November 2021 at Hoxton Arches in London, United Kingdom.
