In Ayane Yamamoto's "Unbreakable" exhibition, the artist uses the Greek mythological figure Medusa to symbolize her own struggles with mental health and raises awareness towards mental illness while also exploring societal constraints.

 

The artist aims to remind the viewer to evaluate their own personal judgments of others, and encourages society to better include and support those struggling with mental health.
